This rifle has everything going for it for the dedicated varmint shooter. A fantastic caliber, a well-built rifle, great overall condition, a reasonable price and spot-on deadly accurate! What more could you ask for? If only I was set up with the necessary reloading equipment, I'd be all over this! I know I'll be regretting this when it does finally sell... That’s right. I believe the later ones did away with the checkering also

Yes the later VLS models had no checking and a beavertail fore-end
