Lol, I did some rough figuring between the 20VT and 20-222/ Turbo, Equal FPS. Cost, savings per 100 wouldn’t buy a cup of coffee at any decent restaurant/cafe.

Oh I get it for sure. I ran across a box of 22RF ammo I bought as a kid, .69 and that was in the fancy plastic slip top box of 100. Dad scolded me good because the box of 50 in a paper box was like .29 per 50.
Gas checks for my cast bullet shooting got to .05 each and that chapped me good also.
I shop pretty hard but I just pay up and go on.
Barrels, I was pretty cautious for a long while. Zero regrets on a new barrel for anything I have done in the last 25 years, wish I had started earlier.
