208g Amax Jump or Jammed.

waiting for 215g Hybrids to arrive at local Fd and in meantime have a box of 208g amax which i will be shooting for FTR at 800-1000y, does the 208g amax perform best say with 20-15 off Lands or touching Lands, anyone have info with seating this bullet with their FTR rigs, thanks.

i shoot the 210 hybrids in a 308 win and i jump them about 20 thousands. I tried the lands and closer but accuracy was not there.

Are you guys using Varget in your loads, getting good accuracy with 44.3g with Lapua palma brass with a 1 in 10 twist 32in bartlin.

Wow, that's a stout load.

43.1 of Varget was max in my rifle. That was with a .141 freebore. More freebore would allow more powder. SR primers also allow more powder.

208g Amax very impressive bullet, load was running tad below 2700fps but Vertical yielded only 2.5in at 1000y, Vertical opened out with last shot due to mirage to 5in.
