204 Winchester 32gr ammo anyone ever shoot this stuff?

I bought a little Tikka T3x 204 Ruger compact awhile back and as anyone who shoots a 204 Ruger knows getting brass or ammo has been nearly impossible. I stumbled upon some of this ammo https://winchester.com/Products/Ammunition/Rifle/Varmint-X/X204P and having no brass or ammo for my new purchase I bought a few boxes so at the least I'd have some brass. I used to have a CZ 527 Varmint 204 that shot the Hornady Superformance 32gr Vmax ammo extremely well but I sold that to a friend a few years ago and when I did I gave him all the extra ammo and brass I had on hand. I never shot any of this Winchester stuff.

I'm no particular fan of Winchester ammo or brass but since components and ammo for the 204 Ruger have been so difficult to get, beggars can't be choosy, I bought a few boxes so at the least, even if this stuff shoots for shit, I'll have some brass to work up a load with.

Curious if anyone has ever shot any of this Winchester 204 32gr ammo and if so how did it turn out for you???

Have not shot that ammo. Not really a fan of Winchester ammo either.

But Winchester and Nosler have been collaborating for some years now. The bullet is likely a Nosler.

I have shot some Midway Dogtown .204 ammo with a 32 grain Nosler Varmageddon bullet. It gave decent groups for factory ammo - 1/2" to 3/4" at 100 yards.

Everyone tells me how good these Tikka's shoot so maybe the mediocre Winchester ammo won't even matter.

I guess at least I'll have some brass though.

I've been considering just having the barrel set back a little and rechambered to 20 Practical. Have to see how it shoots with this Winchester stuff.

This is my first experience with a Tikka. Everyone tells me how great they are so I'll just have to see how it goes. The last 204 Ruger I had was a CZ 527 Varmint that turned out to be a little tack driver but I didn't have it long and sold it to a friend who has been slaying coyotes with it ever since. If this little Tikka shoots this factory Winchester stuff as well as that CZ shot the Hornady I'll keep it as is.
