204 Striker Project

Just finished a 204 Ruger project built on a Savage Striker. Bolt face squared by Sharpshooter Supply, McGowen 16" 1:11, 1.0595" Bull Barrel no taper, modified factory stock,I had to some trimming of the stock to get the barrel to fit.). This is my first McGowen barrel and would highly recomend them. They are inexpensive and did a great job. Still doing load development these are shots 20-35.

Nice Striker, they are a blast for varmint hunting. Once you adapt to shooting one you can get real accurate. Mine's still stock 22-250, The trigger is it's biggest handi-cap.
