204 Ruger w/VV N530

Any one have any load data for the 204 Ruger using 39gr Sierra bullets with VV N530,high energy) powder?

I can tell you the results I got with my .204 & N530. My .204 is a Savage VLP with a 26" Pacnor 1x11 twist barrel. The chamber is cut with .035 of freebore,or leade). I also use molly. 39 Sierra seated .010 off, WW brass, R7 1/2 primers.

26.9grs 3800-79-41
27.2grs 3846-32-11
27.5grs 3919-24-11

The 27.2gr load shot best. This was last summer and I haven't had much time to play with it this year so far, work is taking up a lot of my time.

My 27.0gr loads produced 3846fps w/a standard dev. of 17 from a 1-9 twist Lija barrel w/the 39gr BlitzKings. WOW, not bad for a 24" barrel!

Follow up on the 27gr loads. No real signs of pressure, but two that I left in a hot chamber for a few minutes blew out the primers. I will drop this charge weight down until I am no faster than 3750fps, to stay the same as the factory spec ammo I have been shooting.

Try some BLC-2 I use 30.2 and I'm getting 3950 with 39 BK and here's a couple groups from my CZ 527 varmint

I am working just under 27gr now with no pressure signs and still beating 3750 by a few fps.
