204 Ruger VV N530 Berger 40gr bullet.

Anyone tried VV N530 powder in a 204 Ruger? I have used RL10 H4895. With a Berger 35gr bullet. But wanted to try a Berger 40gr. My gun has a 1@10 twist barrel.

I can't answer your question specifically, however I shoot a factory HSM 204 loading in 35 grain,and 40 both Berger flat base match hollow point.it's my go to fantastic shooter, and the 1/10 twist is the only way to go, most manufacturers don't offer that, Thompson center Venture does, that's what I shoot and nothing out there will outshoot it, but by a human hair only. What's your rifle of choice? The 35 and 40 are identical on paper, which I only shoot on a sight in. Anything from 24,to 40 grains works perfectly on a 1/10.

Mine is the TC Venture predator model 204 ruger . Heavier flutted barrel camo gun. I bought up 6 or 7 magazines. When I bought i the gun. I think 5 are still in package. That little gun is my truck gun.
