204 ruger primers

I always used Remington 7 1/2 primers. I have some Federal 205 match primers. Is Federal any better than Remington? Also have a pd of N530 powder to try. I normally use H4895 and RL10. With a Berger 35gr bullet. Planning on trying Berger 40gr 40gr V max and Nosler 40gr with the N530. My rifle is a TC Venture predator model. It has a 1@10 twist 22 inch bull flutted barrel. Just wanted see how the N530 V max and Nosler bt. Will shoot out of my gun. Only bullets I have shot so far are 35gr bullets. My other 204 ruger i shot 39gr out of it.

I think you will like the 40 vmax and since you have the 10 twist it should work well in it. The Fed 205M primer is a great one and the N530 is very close to H4895 in burn rate. The Rem primers hold up well too.
The 204 is a darling you cant go to far wrong with it. If you have a chronograph try both and see which one is more consistent. I bet the Rem will do well during this cold spell too.
