204 Ruger Powder Recommendations?

Started out with 10X, then IMR8208, and now trying VV N133. All with 40 grain bullets
Switched from Remington 7 1/2 primers to the new Federal GM205 Match AR primer for my 204 Ruger.

Benchmark has given me best accuracy with 35 gr. burgers. Used all year long and haven't noticed pressure signs. I will say though I'm not trying to squeeze the last drop of velocity out of this combo.

I have used both Benchmark and 8208 with good results. Haven’t shot either for groups in cold weather to be fully transparent.

I use CFE223. I seldom shoot it in cold weather though.
I have used 8208 in the past, but accuracy was t where I wanted it.

I have used h4895 and benchmark. I now just load h4895. Have shot it at 90 degrees and at around 30 degrees with no issues.

How do you like the AR match primers? I picked some up last year from someone and haven’t tried it in 204. Only been using 7 1/2 and 205m

Fern. I just started using GM205AR primers when I switched to VV N133. Remington 7 1/2 primers were not available anywhere so I switched because I could buy all I needed. They have a tough cup as the 7 1/2 does but I think the accuracy is better. This is the primer I plan to use from now on. VV N133 has really impressed me too. Easy to get not like IMR8208.

I shoot Benchmark in my 204's from -15F to 90F. Rem 7 1/2 primers coupled with 32, 35, 39 and 40 grain bullets and I haven't seen a need to change anything.

My 204 loves Benchmark. 39gr Sierras and 40gr VMax both shoot bug holes with Benchmark in my little T/C carbine. Regardless of temperature.
