204 ruger norma brass

Anyone happen to know the neck thickness of norma 204 ruger brass? I am thinking of picking some up if it will work in my rifle.
I don’t have the means to turn necks and need to find some more brass with .12 neck thickness. I have a custom barrel that has a 230 neck clearance and discovered some of my Winchester (red bag) brass had thicker necks then other pieces in same bag

Fern, now might be the time to get an outside neck turner, as even brass that may fit a chamber might require a light turn to even up high/thick spots on the neck for good consistency/bullet tension.

Have you tried Nosler 204 brass? The last batch I had mic'd .012", which would fit that .230" neck chamber very well. (I know you meant .012" and not .120" )

You may also want to check Starline 204 brass. Also, what did the Norma 204 brass neck mic?

I feel you might be right on turning the necks and have started looking to see which one to get. Going to have to swing by Bruno’s later this week see what they have in stock.
Call me crazy but I enjoy prepping brass. I find it relaxing taking dirty brass and making it shiny.
I uniformed all the primer pockets and flash holes of my brass with a KM tools.
I have not looked at star line to be honest didn’t know they offered it.
Out of 70 cases fired so far had 3 that would not chamber during load development so took them home pulled apart and started mic them where I noticed it had higher thickness then the rest so now I’m checking all my brass where before I checked about 25-30 and they all were fine until now.
I had a chamber gauge made when I had bridle done and brass drops in fine but soon as load a 39sbk projectile it sticks out.
On a plus note I had a friend find me some R10x at a reasonable (for this day age) price so he picked me up a 5lb jug

Custom chambers should have a neck turning tool with them and some brass varies enough to be cleaned up even without a custom chamber
