204 Ruger cut rifled or button rifled barrel..???

I want to build a 204 Ruger on a match grade S/S barrel...which has a better accuracy record button or cut rifling.???

Thanks for the opinions guys...

The cut rifled 20's are great. Most of the cut rifled barrel makers are tired of the hassle with the 20 cals. And are using button rifling.

Saturn barrels will cut rifle a 20 barrel for you (6 to 8 months)? Bartlein will do it if he has an order of 25 or more, haven't talk to krieger since they told me that it was looking like crieterion for the 20's.

Since I been using hart, lilja, pacnor and douglas. And have 6 rock creek 20 cal barrels shipping this week. I build a lot of 20 caliber rifles and have no complaints at all with the button barrels.

Cut or button rifling......don't worry about it. With a quality barrel you won't see any difference in how they shoot.

I highly recommend the Criterion match grade barrels. I have one in 204 Ruger that consistently shoots < .2 MOA. They are button rifled barrels.
