Want to know, in your opinion, who makes the best 204 ruger brass?

I can't compare, because I've committed myself to Nosler. I can tell you that a few hours ago I shot a 200 yard (3 shot) group measuring 0.35 in (0.167 MOA). I'm sticking with Nosler.

I use Winchester 204 brass. Tried some Nosler. Seemed about the same and cost more.. Same with NORMA .. Haven't tried Lapua. For shootin gophers I'll stick with Winchester..

I use Winchester brass. Bought ten bags when the 204 first came out and from what I'm hearing about new Winchester brass now, I'm glad I did. The brass I have is holding up well.

I use the Winchester, although I do have some Nosler, which unless they changed was being made for them by Norma.

I just bought 500 pieces of Midway's dogtown brass in 204. I've prepped half of it so far, good looking stuff. I hope it holds up well.

I bought some 204R Winchester brass a couple yrs ago, and lost 50% of it due to poorly formed shoulders on new brass (I lost misplaced the receipt ). Been wondering about the Dogtown, supposedly made by Norma IIRC.

Looks like it is made by Nosler.. Also half the price of any other. On sale now for $79/250

I had 4 bad cases in the first box of 250. Creased necks. Other wise, they look good. That's a way better average than the new Winchester brass

i ues norma,nosler,hornady,winchester,remington,The 1 thing i do not like w/Norma or Nosler is Short Brass,trim length is 1.840,lots are 1.833-34 to 1.836-37.The rem,win i have are the Old ones they last a long time like the Old Hornady.Most accurate loads out of 4 barrels were 1at Hornady.Wim.Norma.Nosler.Rem loaded w,exact same loads.The New Hornady are 4-8 grain lighter than the Old, They do not last as long. Haven't bought any new Win[Reports on them not good]The Norma & Nosler are almost twice the price of the Hornady.I would ask/swap a few cases w/friends and load up your Favorite load and see what shoots the best

I too have been using WW brass, just not very available in virgin brass lately. Hornaday has worked just as well from factory fired ammo.
We (3 of us brothers) have almost used up our WW brass. In search of a new source, Hornaday has been most available in virgin form.
We have tried some of the Fiocchi factory 32 gr. and surprised at the accuracy, matches our WW handloads in group sizes and velocity. Some load development has been done with the Fiocchi brass and is proving to be good stuff. However, it is somewhat heavier than the Hornaday or WW brass by some 6+/- grs in weight, so it's not a simple changeover with your proven load from Hrn or WW brass. Haven't had enough cycles to compare life spans of the brass.
Have only found Fiocchi brass in factory loaded ammo. It is quite reasonable in 50rd bx and shoots very good in our rifles. Might give that some consideration.

I sold my 204 right before Christmas and still have two boxes of new Norma and one box of new Nosler, which is made for them by Norma, but is weight sorted, if anyone is interested send me a PM.
