204 Nosler Brass

can anyone tell me neck wall thickness of Nosler 204 brass or unturned loaded round diameter? Trying to get bushings ordered.

It's a pretty simple request. I trust people here with real world numbers more than Redding. Pretty sure they wouldn't offer an answer to my question even if they knew.

Richard, Do you want the neck wall thickness of the Nosler boxed and prepped 204 brass that internet consensus says was made by Norma or the bagged bulk brass that Nosler has recently been producing internally after their acquisition of Silver States Armory? I have the latter but not sure if I have any of the Norma produced brass left. Will get you some measurements today.

Just something to get me close, I know I'll have to tweak it. Many thanks. After I get the brass, I'll post some dimensions so that maybe it will help someone else.

Richard, I checked the neck wall thickness on both the Norma produced Nosler brass and the Nosler internally produced brass. On each case I measured the neck wall thickness at four points around the circumference using a ball micrometer. The raw data follows.

Norma produced: .0116, .0118, .0117, .0114 average=.0116

Nosler produced: .0131, .0133, .0121, .0119 average=.0126

Looking at the Midway brass prices, I would think that the 50 count product was produced by Norma and that the 250 count("new arrival") was probably internally produced by Nosler.

PS: I have no 204 loaded neck diameter measurements as I use 204 brass for my 22-204.

My loaded (39gr Sierra BK) Nosler brass averages 0.2270 (+/- 0.0005 mic resolution) which is consistent with JohnHenry's data for Norma (black Nosler box) produced brass above.

I bought the in house Nosler produced brass . I sure hope i don't have to turn the necks ,shooting out of a CZ-527./

You should not have to turn necks from any factory brass in a factory barrel. I'm using Nosler 204 brass in a custom M700 (Pac-Nor), Sako M75V, Cooper MTV and a Kimber 84M Varmint, all without any neck turning.

I have a CZ 527 in 221FB, along with a Cooper M38 in 221FB. Both using Nosler brass....no neck turning required there either.
