2026 TSRA Texas Long Range Championship

I have known the phrase was Leslie Nelson’s, but, surely, there will be some that watched fewer movies than others.

What’s the latest date to withdraw with refund?

Being that the NRA adopted 20 shot pair fire are we suppose to use our long range classification or full bore classification?

The new rule book for F-Class hasn’t been updated to the NRA website yet. I refresh that page a few times a day. Other rule books revised this year have been, and ours should be any day now.

We can anticipate they will place this match under a revised and expanded F-Class full bore course of fire with accompanying national record eligibility, but let’s look when it’s published on the site. For initial squadding purposes though, registration sought the shooter’s long range classification and rifle type. Under rifle type for F-Class, Open and TR were choices, so the submitted classifications will stand for squadding purposes, and then after day one, grouping by standings.

Because of these rule changes, there very well may be other guns brought such as F precision or even F factory, which the match program could not foresee. It does however refer to the NRA rules, so my strong inclination is to conduct the match by the Rules as of its commencement to the extent feasible, although the more time we have with them, the better. (An example of “feasible” means don’t bring gear that damages the facility).

There are also changes to E-Target Rules about no reads, challenges, etc. everyone should read that I’m told will appear. They can be seen in the new High Power Rule book, that is already out.
