2026 Buffalo Classic from Midland TX

Just finished with this year’s Buffalo, great time with some fantastic folks. It was a tad windy at times, but a few were able to find something to shoot in that worked. Congratulations to our good friend, Speedy Gonzalez for the two gun win. And thanks to all our sponsors for the $8,000 plus in prizes for the shooters!

Everybody that didn't go to the shoot - you missed a well run shoot. Very few things came up during the event, most competitors never even knew. Targets were run quickly, scores posted ASAP, we were finished shooting at 330 yesterday, and everyone pretty much left by 5 pm.

Very cool prize table, everyone there got a least a couple door prizes, and these were not cheap prizes either, thanks to all the sponsors.

Can't wait till next year - all you guys join the Michigan and Florida guys that made the drive this time!

LOL the conditions were tough! Last match, I shot a .700, went to look at the leader board - AND MOVED UP 4 PLACES! I was expecting to go down quite a ways, but no! Only in Midland - not an easy place to shoot, but worth the trip.

Congratulations to all the shooters. Looks like the good’ol west Tx winds showed up. Speedy is a tough nut to crack when he’s behind a rifle. I shoot against him monthly and he doesn’t hold back even at a monthly match. Hopefully a lot of the same shooters from the Buffalo match come to the Bluebonnet next month so I can get to me you guys. Well done Speedy

The OKIE's had a great time again and can't wait for the next shoot!!!! Great job by Scott Haywood, Mike Conry, for making the match run smooth as always!!!! We also have to thank Kevin Black for the outstanding BBQ that was served!!! This was truly an event that should not be missed thanks to these fine gentlemen and the rest of the crew at Midland that welcomed us with great hospitality!!!!
