Marilyn and I left right after the awards, we got to the Texas Border around 1:00AM, and decided to just pull into that big Rest Area just past the State Line , slept in the truck for about 4 hours.

We got home around 11:00 this morning.

We had a great time, even though Tuesday morning I was really under the weather, kidney problems.

You can’t be around a better bunch of guys and gals that what you meet at a Nationals.

I would like to give a shout out to my good friend Ed Bernabeo. He persevered through the whole VFS and did the single most important thing in Score Shooting. He stayed clean and garnered a 4th place in the VFS 200 and a 3d place in the VFS Grand.

Second Nationals ever with another great bunch of guys. Got reaquainted with familiar faces, met many new ones. Mother nature may have kicked my butt quite soundly but the real trophy for me has always been the memories and shared stories I take home!
