2024 Williamsport World Open Championships - Are You Coming?

[BB1000Yard]

The World Open Championships in beautiful Williamsport, PA will be held on July 13th & 14th. This is one of the largest attended long-range 1000 yard benchrest events in the country. The match will be divided into Light Gun on Saturday and Heavy Gun on Sunday. Winners will be determined by a 3 target (10 record shots each) aggregate. That would be so cool to shoot this event. But it’s too far for this old guy to travel alone.
Will some kind sole be posting updates and results ?

Yes.......But if you have a gun that will make the 17lbs with a scope that will give you the MOA to get it out to 1K, you should compete in at least 1 of the day's matches......The 1st time I ever squeezed the trigger at 1K was at Williamsport at the World Open. I went up by myself with some decent equipment and a sound gun in 6.5-06 imp....Joe Salt got me on target early Fri. and then I was off to the races......I had a HOOT.......Give it some thought.

Thanks Rick, unfortunately, old age is against me. I have the equipment, just can`t see the targets anymore.

I thought it would be neat to see others shoot and see everyone having a good time.
