2024 Freedom Benchrest 600 yards Nationals

Thnx Al for the countdown for this inaugural FREEDOM 600 yard nationals as always you guys put on a heck of a match great food good friends and some good times These FREEDOM events remind me of some of the great times I recall as a child family reunion’s just gets better and better Dave at protektor sent a lot of product for your prize table with me He’s bringing more but didn’t want to run out of space as he headed to match. Great guy for sure and Great products Also I have your products from NIGHTFORCE always great to have these folks aboard. Counting down the days and looking forward to seeing my Florida friends and everyone else

Hello shooting family,

We are just 27 days away from our Freedom Benchrest 600 yards Nationals at Manatee Gun and Archery Club on October 25, 26 and 27 2024.

Attached are the registration forms.

(Lets all pray we don’t get a hurricane)

The range will be open for practice starting Wednesday October 23rd after 1pm.

Match registration will close October 11, 2024.

Match registration and fees are $375.00 for Tactical, Light Gun and Heavy Gun due before September 27th for accurate T-shirt count. ($275 for Light Gun and Heavy Gun)

We will accept registrations until October 11, however after September 27th, you will not get a shirt. NO REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED THE DAY OF THE EVENT.

We will have lunch and dinner on Friday and Saturday.

We will also have live music on Saturday evening.

Sunday we will have lunch.

The prize table will be on Saturday after dinner.

The awards will be given on Sunday.

Safety brief at 7:30am each day, every shooter must be there.​

Match starts at 8:00am each day, weather permitting.​

Light guns need to be weighed on Saturday October 26 and be stickered after each relay.​

Per Freedom Benchrest Rules, Light Gun can only be 17lbs.​

We will be shooting:​

Tactical – Friday October 25th​

Light Gun – Saturday October 26th​

Heavy Gun – Sunday October 27th​

How many rounds will I need?​

We will shoot 8 targets for each rifle class.​

You will need a total of 40 rounds for record and unlimited sighters for EACH class.​

I am travelling early; will the range be open?​

The range will be open and available for testing/practice starting Wednesday October 23rd after 1:00pm.​

Range times from 8:30am-4:30pm​

I have a canopy and table; can I bring it?​

We encourage you to bring your own, as the ones provided are on a first come first serve basis.​

Wagons to hold your rests and other gear can be placed in front of the firing line provided they do not interfere with the shooters.​

Will there be food?​

We will be serving Lunch and dinner on Friday and Saturday. Lunch on Sunday.​

We recommend you bring a snack as the days will be long.​

We will provide water for all 3 days.​

Restrooms?​

There will be porta potty available.​

For the ladies there will be bathrooms in scoring shed.​

Will there be bench rotations?​

Yes, we will be doing bench rotations.​

Can I sign up on the day of the match?​

No registrations will be accepted the day of the event, please email me as soon as possible to reserve your spot.​
