2024 Anderson Creek Winter Schedule

How about some live reporting ?? We had more heavy wind last
night then everything iced over. My ambition has gone south early
just looking out the window !! Good luck Yinz......

Jeff should hand out merit badges for this shoot.
Jeff wasn't there today, but 12 shooters were awarded merit badges. Conditions got a little interesting at times with white outs and snow blowing sideways at 40+ mph. You could pick your way if you were patient, but for most it was probably 4/8 to 5/8 dialed windage before you even started to hold off.
The chile was great, and the cast iron stove kept everyone warm.
Here are the scores.

Jack, thanks for posting the scores. I decided I am too old to go play in the snow at the winter matches. I would appreciate if you do that task I will continue to post the match dates. Nest winter match is Feb 10th, the 'Kill Phil Match'

Jack summed it up pretty well! Cold, windy, whiteouts, flags dancing, and tails snapping. Pretty much normal Anderson Creek conditions.

First place was a tie between Jeremiah Keefe and Jack Balon at 203, with Frank Carrier hot on their heels with a second place finish at 201.

The side group was won by Jack Balon with an impressive 0.503” next closest group was 0.905”

As I look at the scores I see Jack and Jeremiah who tied for first shot their high score on the last target. Some shooters who were positioned to win did just the opposite. Nice shooting and kudos to those who braved the terrible conditions. Feb 10th, next match.
