2021 LA FC V2 Practice Results

Doug shot extremely well but only dropping 3 in the last match was exceptional. Jade made a cameo appearance, took the match by storm, and fades quietly back into the shadows....LOL.
Not bad for a guy that claimed he didn’t have enough ammo for the match. Most fun I ever had shooting bad. Was a real learning experience.
Many thanks to Skip and the LRA crew for setting up this match.

Doug put on quite a show!!! I have been humbled before, and will be humbled again, but this was by far the most difficult range I have shot on. Not just one relay, but every relay was was just..... well difficult. Hats off to Skip and everyone that helped run the match and brought their etargets to shoot on. It was a great match with great people, and well worth the trip. I would encourage anyone who thinks they have it all “figured out” to come shoot this match or the state match here in September. Hats off to all the competitors, Jade and Doug shot the best in their respective classes, but every one shot well.

Thanks everyone! Once in a while everything comes together. For those that weren’t there here’s a little taste, I had windshield wipers 8’s in match 1 and 5 nines in a row in match 8 . There is no hiding in pair fire and no lead is safe at LRA. Also Jade’s score with a TR gun is phenominal.
Great match Skip and Ric!

Shooting 2 to a mound for the first time, and doing it at Shreveport would cause one to stop and ponder the cruel humor of the wind gods for sure.
Wade, it's definately "different" pair firing. This was the 1st time i've ever done it. Making a wind call (sighter shot) every shot at Shreveport can be a bit nerve racking.........LOL

It was good meeting you Dan, glad you made it down for the match. Hopefully you can make it back in the future. As for Shreveport conditions, it can be a bit challenging at times (just about everytime actually).........lol

Thanks everyone, appreciate it. It was nice to get back to a match. Hadn't shot since last September. Congrats to Doug and everyone else shooting well. Doug, i was watching you shoot your last string and only dropping 3 points in that stuff was unreal. Super shooting.

Skip, thanks for running the match. You do a great job and i know everyone appreciates it along with all the LRA folks. Oh, and thanks again for letting me use your I-Pad

This was a phenomenal match, competition was top notch and Skip is a great match director. LRA are great hosts and work very hard to make things fun for everyone. It is definitely a tough place to shoot. Thanks to everyone for putting this match together.
