2020waypoint

Does anyone on here own or have shot a springfield 2020 waypoint? Ive been trying to sorce one in 6.5 prc non carbon barrel. Before i locate one and purchase it, just curious if anyone on here has any experience with one. The carbon barrel version one is around but i prefer just the plain steel barrel version. Just want to make sure accuracy is good and i dont waist my money. This will replace another 6.5 prc rifle i plan to sell if i can find one. Will mainly be a hunting rifle, but some bench shooting from time to time.

A buddy of mine has one in 6.5 prc it shoots lights out! Bolt throw is silky and the trigger is glass like you WON'T be waisting any money

I have been helping a gentleman with his 6 Creedmoor. It is a carbon barrel and shoots very well for a factory barrel. It is definitely not a custom chamber and bore, but the gun shoots well at half the price of a custom. 3 shot groups are .2s and .3s and 5 shot groups around .55- not terrible. I’m sure the steel version will outshoot it, as usual.

Yeah i do not want the carbon barrel version. To me not worth the extra price for little weight savings.
