I haven't seen any threads on this in some time and can't find where Larry posted it up do a brief synopsis.
Weather was extraordinary for ORSA day1 and at the end of the day both John Whidden(Palma) and Roarke Pendleton (Any/Iron) were clean for the day. Curtis McNabb was high state down 5 with Thomas, Matt, Brian and Jim (maybe more) just points off.
Days 2 was a bit more typical of ORSA but still decent. John took the mathc win dropping only 2 points! If not the all time record is is certainly the record with a Palma rifle and I suspect it will stand until long after I can't hold a rifle anymore. Phillip Crowe snuck in to take 2nd with a 284win over Roarke and his mighty 6BR.
Top TN resident and the new TN state champion is Thomas Colyer who was down 12.
Thanks to Larry, Mrs. Larry(Barbra) for running a great match. To John Chubb for keeping the pits straight and teaching this old dog a new trick with the 550 cord and to all who came out and shot. Had a great time with exceptional people, and Matt, and can't wait to see you all again.
