My main complaint and honestly a reason why F-class isnt shot more in FL is the lack of ranges.

The closest mid-range (600) capable to Pensacola is in MS. There is a range at Eglin AFB but they won't allow civilians on base to shoot.

The range in FT Walton Beach is on Hurlburt AFB and does allow civilians to shoot on SMT e targets. You do need to be on the base visitors list prior to arrival which can be accomplished by contacting the match director Bill Walter @ billwalter105@gmail.com

Yep, did one in June and it was a great run match. Plan to go back in spring.

Rules: All current NRA Highpower rules will apply.


Eligibility: Invitational, open to the public.


Entry Fee:

$ 30.00 (there will be an additional $10 league registration fee assessed for each competitor’s first match)


Location: Hurlburt Field, FL.


Note 1: The range is located on a military base. Periodic high security postures may preclude competitor ability to enter the base. Please make sure you contact billwalter105@gmail.com (850) 217-5428 prior to traveling to the range.


Note 2: Base entry is strictly controlled. Competitors lacking entry authorization must send an e-mail to billwalter105@gmail.com or call the Match Director at 850-217-5428 at least 24 hours prior to the match date to coordinate an escort.
