2017 Williamsport 1000 Yard Benchrest School

Last years course was amazing and the first night, hitting a clay pigeon at 1,000 yards was a real turn on. The course is also a bargain. Of course at the end of it I bought about $3,500 worth of new reloading equipment to replace what I already had! This year I think since I have made all those purchases, I will get off cheap.

Do you have the highest quality rifle & spotting scope yet ? Have you decided on your custom bullet maker yet ?............Sorry.......

Funny you should mention it. I have rifles now by Jim Borden, Clarence Hammond and an Doyle Anglin as well as one from the now Remington Custom Shop Division of Dakota Arms. I am having some custom bullets made for me as we type. Bought the Spotting Scope prior to going to the school as well as my rest (though I then ordered a SEB) and a lot of other stuff, barrel umbrella, ammo caddies, timers etc. Just got my LabRadar which will get used for the first time this weekend. I can look the part, now to learn how to shoot.

Hi Joe,

Nice chatting with you today. There are advantages to not being married any more. Especially at my age! There is a custom bullet maker in Newburg, New York. He is making me projectiles for my 6PPC. I will see how I like them. I have also purchased custom projectiles through Bob White owner of "The Shooter's Corner" I stop in to see Bob every few weeks.
