Our 112h year of shoots
On the first Saturday of the month; May 6th, June 3rd, July 1st, August 5th, September 2nd, and October 7th.
Registration from 7:15 AM till the end of the first relay beginning at 9:00AM. Please note we nave installed a gate, guests please wait in the upper lot until a club member arrives.
Ground Hog Match Rules
Entry Fee
$12.00 per gun. Prizes will be awarded with $5.00 of the entry fee. Payback 1st place 60% (1-3 shooters) and 2nd place 40% (1-7 shooters). Stickers awarded down to 3rd place (over 7 shooters).
Classes
Factory Class - All factory guns must have factory barrel and stock. After market triggers, front rest and rear bag are allowed. No PPC or BR in this class.
Unlimited Class - Any firearm under 17.5lbs., .40 caliber limit
Course of Fire
1st Relay - 6 minutes of fire. 5 shots for record at 200 yards.
2nd Relay - 6 minutes of fire. 5 shots for record at 300 yards.
3rd Relay - 6 minutes of fire. 5 shots for record at 100 yards – 5 targets for custom.
Unlimited sighters allowed within the time limit at sighter portion of the target. When relay is completed, shooters are requested to remove their equipment and exit the firing line promptly.
General Rules
Eye and ear protection are required on the firing line.
No one piece rests
Spotting scopes allowed on line
Coaching and spotting are allowed
Bolts must be removed at all times until given the instruction to install bolts by the Range Officer.
Guests must sign waivers each calendar year.
Safety first.
TIE BREAKING
Due to input from Shooters the following system will be used to break ties this season.

- First Tie Breaker – best score at 100 yards.
- Second Tie Breaker – best score at 300 yards, to be used if best scores at 100 yards are tied.
- Final Tie Breaker – closest to the center at 300 yards, to be used if sill tied after best scores at 300 are the same. The decision of the RO’s will be final.
