The Fullbore Matches will be a way for you to get ready for the America's Match and Camp Perry International Match which will be held at Camp Perry Aug 2012 durning the Long Range National Matches.. Even though all the matches are slated for 800, 900, 1000 yards. One of the match dates will be altered as need to conform to the way the matches will be shot at Camp Perry. As for bullet weight restrictions, it is my understanding currently that, IFCRA rules will apply to the team sling shooters in the America's Match, of nothing more than 156 gr bullet for the .308's, but no restriction to weight for the F-Class shooters. But, in the Camp Perry International Match, US Highpower rules will apply, meaning there will be no restriction on bullet weight for .308 or .223.
Only International Teams will be participating in the America's Match, all others will be participating in the Camp Perry International Match. This will be the first year that F-Class will have been allowed to shoot with others during the Long Range National Championships.. I hope that you will attend and also plan to attend the Fullbore matches at ORSA in preperation for shooting at Camp Perry.. mark your calender.
