Hey folks! As some of you may know already, the NC Guard at Camp Butner recently advised us that on two weekends (April 7-8 and June 30 - July 1), Camp Butner would be closed to civilian and military activity. Unfortunately both weekends had NSSC and NCRPA matches scheduled.
The two affected matches are:
1. Bruce Teachey match, NCRPA that has now been moved to Sept 8-9, 2012
2. NRA regional LR match NSSC that has now been moved to June 16-17, 2012, with practice available on Friday June 15
In addition to rescheduling the matches above, we have also done the following changes to the schedule to accomodate the above changes:
3. We were able to get an additional date from the Guard, confirmed reservation for range 4; June 9-10. Our plan is to pull the Doug Morgan XTC weekend ahead one week from June 16-17 and now the match will be held June 9-10. All else the same except practice is not available on Friday june 8.
4. The NCRPA NC State Full Bore match originally scheduled Sept 8-9 will now be scheduled on weekend of Nov 17-18 and will take replace the Jim Fletcher 800 RMC match. Practice available on Friday November 16 if desired. Due to the late year schedule and few available dates, the Jim Fletcher match will not be fired in 2012.
We sincerely regret having to adjust the schedule but we did not have much choice. We are fortunate guests of the NC Guard and are glad to work around their schedule.
