2012 North Dakota F-Class Shooting Opportunities

For F-Class shooting opportunities going on in the Great State of Nordakota, North Dakota, here is what I know at time of this posting. Some of these matches are held concurrently with other High Power Disciplines (Palma & Across The Course), but the purpose of this post is to inform you of F-Class opportunities.

I will list them by Date, Location & if they are MID-Range or LONG Range:

There are 3 “Formal” Ranges in ND: 2 Mid-Range (Grand Forks & Rolla), & 1 Long-Range (Moffit/Bismarck)

NRA Approved Matches:

May 05/06, 2012: Moffit/Bismarck – Long Range. “The Five Buckle Overshoe Match”. The F-Class Event will be shot on Saturday May 05th.

June 09/10, 2012: Moffit/Bismarck – Long Range. “The Summer High Power Match. The F-Class Event will be shot on Saturday June 09th. Note: Palma Course of Fire.

June 23/24, 2012: Grand Forks – Mid Range. “Forks Rifle Club Mid Range Regional. F-Class will be shot both days.

July 07/08, 2012: Moffit/Bismarck – Long Range. North Dakota Long Range State Championship. Note F-Class “can” shoot both days, Palma course of fire on Sat and Long Range shot on Sun.

Aug 04/05, 2012: Grand Forks – Mid Range. “Forks Rifle Club F-Class & Conventional Prone Championship.” F-Class can be shot either Sat or Sun.

Sept 08/09, 2012: Moffit/Bismarck - Long Range. "Regional Long Range Individual". F-Class to be shot both days.

Sept 29, 2012: Rolla – Mid Range. Mid Range State Championship.

F-Class Practice Matches (Mid-Range) in GFK. See my April 20th post for further info: Dates are: 5/20, 6/10, 7/01, 8/12, 9/16.

The above summarized info is correct to the best of my knowledge at this time. I have the Match Programs for the Grand Forks and Moffit/Bismarck matches (Rolla, I don’t). If you are interested, PM me and I will send match program to you. So if you plan to attend, please ensure you read the actual match program details and dont rely solely on my posted info… CYA Donchyaknow!!!!

Thanks for the info!! Good to see ya at the wind clinic, lots of fun!! Scott did a great job "down" there. Couple of DL boys will be at Moffit May 5th. If you haven't shot there, give it a try, nice club and lots of great people!! I also noted a NRA 600yd F-Class @ GFK, 8/18? Eric in DL

Yeah Buddy, twas good to see ya too. Effindude & Co did a great job with the clinic and match, already planning to attend next yr.

Moffit is not in the cards for me till later. Got one kid graduating from college & one from HS this month.....

Regarding the Aug match in GFK, I will go out on a limb and say the club calendar is incorrect as I am looking at the match program direct from Mike C. and it says 8/4&5th. If you'd like, I can email the match programs I do have, lmk?

Don't forget the North Dakota Long Range Regional Championship Sept 8 and 9 at Moffit.

I was going to do a little load tweaking this weekend but now am considering doing it out at Moffit at 1000 instead. We'll see.....
