Creating the "BWS" (Balance Weight System) and shooting the "Fist of God" heavy gun off of the old/original seb rest for the first time in the practice day of the 2008 SuperShoot, Kelbly rifle range Ohio.
Photos by Harold Miller. Thank you sir for sending and allowing me to share these pictures.
Rifle owner Mike Stumpfig, with friend Dick Wright, whom asked me to create a joystick rest that would be suitable for his heavy gun. So be it, the "BWS" a.k.a. counterweight was invented by me & Paul Schmidt (RIP) for the first time, on a front rest.
Mr. Stumfig still has the gun and the old rest rest, and told me "Thank You for such a great front rest, after all these years it still functions as it should." --- Thank you Sir for Yours!!!
Shooting this heavy BR gun (chambered in a wildcat 30-378), even without a decelerator, it was just like shooting a LV/ HV gun using the rest and the BWS, it was only a superduper-eargesplitten-loudenboomer!
It was just a beautiful memory!
