~20 Vartarg First Groundhog with Suppressor~

I agree just wished I could find someone locally that does it in their garage and could let me watch
Someone doing it in their garage is not the one you want doing it. Pay the money get it done right,I had two rifles threaded ,204,and 17 hornet for $300 but done perfectly.

It is not rocket science. Anyone that has been a first year apprentice in the machine shop trades can single point thread, indicate, cut, & chamber a barrel.

That said, I have a mill & lathe in my barn. I would be hard pressed to let someone watch and not charge them. $150 is about right.

Check out Silencer Central's barrel threading service. They have done over 10 rifles for me.
They offer a prepaid service where they send you a box, cases to put the barreled actions in and a prepaid
shipping label.
When completed, they send you back the rifles with no additional charges.

It's called 360 Shipping Barrel Threading product .

If you have any questions about it, they are very helpful on the phone or email.

I wouldn’t mind paying a reasonable amount by garage I meant someone that knows and capability to do it and not have to go to some big storefront type of place.
I did not know silencercentral offerred that service. I will look into that
I have my cz527 varmint packaged up about to go out and get rebarrelled in 204 (have plenty of brass and a 20 tac already)

I have used Silencer Central’s threading shop. They have state of the art machinery with fast turn around and charge about $125. No way do I want something like that done in Bubba’s garage…
