20 Practical Question

Hornady .223 seating die. I've used the .204 cal seating stem and the .224 cal seating stem - I can't tell the difference and the target can't either.

Redding .223 competition seater.

These are my favorite seating die and always use them when possible. For a 20 Practical aka 20-223, the above mentioned seating die is exactly what I'd be using as well.

With my 20-222 and 20-250, I'm using a 222 and 22-250 Redding Comp seating die.

And FWIW, the sliding sleeve in the Redding Competition dies, NS and seating, aren't heat treated so if anyone ever has an "improved" version of something and Redding doesn't make the exact Comp Die you're looking for, you can have those sliding sleeves reamed to match whatever it is you had built.

I did exactly that for my 20 Bobcat.

I don't have into helpful on the question. But, I'm almost 2 years in with my 20 Practical and I must admit, The "fun" factor shooting this baby never goes away!

I also use the RCBS Competition seater with the .20 Caliber plug installed. Being able to just drop those tiny bullets into the open window makes for faster and more nimble bullet handling of those small bullets.

Hornady makes a value priced bullet cal specific universal seater (17, 20, 22, 6mm, 25 etc.) works just as well as any other I've used.
