20 Practical Bullet Seating

Not with a 20 cal if you want decent straight ammo you can bed the stem though to fit the intended bullet.
Redding makes a 20 cal seater stem for a 223 die

At first I used the RCBS 223 standard seater, worked fine. I have used my 204R competition seater, seems to work fine also. I keep watching for a used gold metal 223 seater and swap the stem as needed.

I use a 204 rcbs seating die. Seems to work just fine.

I use a 223 seater die from redding. I use 40gr vmax and have never had it damage any of the polymer tips. I have even loaded 40gr bergers. Did not touch the tips of any of them. I have heard of many guys changing out the stem for a 20 cal but i dont see the need at this point.
