The 20 SCC is based on the 221 Fireball that is necked down to 20 caliber with the case walls straightened and a 40 degree shoulder added. Over the last year i have had three rifles chambered in 20 SCC and they all perform very well. Its very common place to see 4,000 + fps with a 32 grain bullet and 21 grains of powder. In addition to the obvious performance gain you also have less recoil and noise than a 204 or 20 Tac while still maintaining the same speeds. Brass trimming is also minimalized due to the 40 degree sholulder. All in all its an excellent high volume varmint cartridge for Pdogs or ground squirrels and would also perform well for target shooting.
