20 cal pressure issues

Went to the range today and shot in 108 degree heat. checking out some loads for a dog shoot in Montana next month and found I have some pressure issues. Shot 5 round and all was fine then 30 minutes late shot again and found I have some pressure issues. I shot these a while back @ 95 degrees and no issues. I know 108 degrees is hot but don't want to have issues when I'm out in the field shooting dogs. Question is do I pull and load some lighter loads or do I take an ice chest and keep them cooler until I shoot? Looking for some advise. Thanks Rick

It wont be 108* in MT.
When its hot out here (85* or so) and my ammo is out in the sun (all the time) I just drop a terry cloth over the box to keep them shaded.

What cartridge, what powder, what bullet, how many rounds down the tube, how many rounds since the last carbon scrub in the throat?

It was a 20 VT and a 20-223 AI. Both rounds had fired several rounds no pressure then latter maybe 30 minutes or an hour later, after the loads warmed up had problem. I didn't have them sitting in sun just warm outside. I think it won't be an issue if I keep them protected and cool during the day. Both guns are rather new with clean barrels.

AA 2200 and RL 10 X, The pressure signs were stiff bolt, hard case extract and the 20 VT blown primer.

I use an inexpensive styrafoam cooler for all the loaded ammo, and put the hulls back in the plastic case to keep up with and bag them. You can even put some of the plastic filled fake ice cubes that you freeze and use as ice under the bullet boxes.

Tried RL-10X in my .20TAC and had the same issues with increased temp. Ambient temp aside, if you let a round 'bake' in a hot chamber, you're gonna experience the same problem...

Wound up I switched to Benchmark. Got same great speed & accuracy as 10X, minus the dirty burn and temp sensitivity...
