20-222 loads

sorry i don't, but could you tell whose chamber drawings you used? standard neck down, 30/35/40* shoulder? might have to pursue that cal.. thanks, tom.

If you are shooting a 20/222 Magnum...well..you now have a 204 Ruger....with a little thicker neck.

I have had great luck, in my 20-222 Rem, with AA2015 and Nosler Ballistic tips.

Check-out the 3/16/2010 thread on Saubier.com(small caliber discussion board page 19) titled "20-222 Plain Jane". There are a number of links within that thread that should also be very helpful. pwdrbrn, You may want to consider Pacific Tool and Gage 20-222 reamer print #3496(9/3/2003). Maintains 23* shoulder. Has .232 neck, 0 freebore, 1*-30 throat angle.

Steve, I would suggest that you call Hodgdon, Hornady and Sierra for starting load data. They are usually very helpful. John Henry's suggestion is also a good one. That thread on Saubier is 3 pages of good info. I found it by searching the forums with "Plain Jane". Also, check for a PM. Peter.

I'm a novice so bear with me.

My print reamer was a Pacific Tool and Gage, my smith still has it.

I'll see if I can get a copy of it.

222 Rem (not MAG) thanks for the correction.

I had a 20-222 built but I don't reload and could use the money. I've never fired it.
