2 scopes to choose from , need options

I really can't decide between these 2. The most I will be shooting is three hundred yards Here at the local range. They both have 0 lock turret. I have a mueller 8-32x44 on another rifle, and it has been great, but it does not have 0lock turret. I would prefer a 0 lock locking turret. For this gun, as it may be used for long-range hunting also
Just extra assurance I can see and it's set at zero at 100 when I climb in stand and just dial it up as needed
Thanks

If you like the Mueller, I think you would be confident purchasing another one......I have done that with March scopes and never regretted it.

Regards
Rick
I have forgotten about March scopes . I'll have to look them up. How is there high power ones . Pretty clear ?

Also forgot how expensive thay where
I don't use the Highmaster scopes; I use the older models, a 10-60 and a fixed 50. They are more than adequate for this old man's eyes for shooting benchrest from 100 to 1000 yds. They can be found around here from time to time for between $1100 and $1500 if you're patient and fast on the "I'll Take It" button. But my point was that between the 2 scopes mentioned in your post, go with what you know.

Best of luck
Rick

Do some research on both scopes and pick the one with the most reliable turrets. When dialing a scope you want it to have repeatable clicks, every time. Especially when shooting at a live animal. If neither fits the bill move on to the next brand. It matters little if the image is crystal clear but the turrets don't repeat. Period. Good luck and keep us posted.

I remember when Mueller was the hot thing for a budget scope, ughh, about 20 years ago. I had a 4-14 and it always worked fine even after the rifle fell from the truck and landed right on the scope. However, I don't hear anything about them anymore. I'd look at athlon on a budget.
