2 ranch nite.

Hit 2 ranches last nite, didn't have to rush as the 2nd one was where I stayed in my shooting hut to out wait that big coyote.
It showed up on time at around 1230am.
As big as it was I'd thought it was a male, nope it's a giant heavy well fed female.
She's a huge one. Bigger than my gun.
That's a shooting hut I can move ranch to ranch and just wait them out.
3 total taken from both spots.
The other nites Pic

Great job.

How far do you set up your shooting shack from the free lunch buffet? Down wind ?

Keep up the good work.

Hal
This is 125 yds from carcass pile, wind changes a lot, but mostly from north or west in this spot.
Its never bothered coyote no matter the spot. They get used to seeing it after several days at most then walk right by it.
Over time Ive come to setting the hut within 135 yds max distance, seems like 125 yds is perfect and coyote ignore it and its just hold on coyote n shoot.

that is cool— good job five speed- thanks for report

Some serious shooting you men have out west for sure. What's your lethal killing range with that rifle?
With my savage build in 6x6.8, 90g Sierra tgk I've got it dialed in from 100 to 600yds. My son took his 1st antelope at 565 yds, 99% of antelope, deer average 200yds max as I'll stalk closer if needed. All my personal goats, deer have been under 160yds.
My ar15 6x6.8 nite rig I've no issues to 400yds, but I always insure coyote are under 200yds..
