I acquired this rifle in a trade for a german schutzen rifle I was selling. It is a nice honest unrestored rifle in pretty good shape for 100 years old. I personally am more interested in classic target rifles. I also have reloading dies and some ammo that came with it.

Wow!...ive been looking for a 25-35 for many years and the timing is never right.
I asked some stranger at the range
What is that? .he said have ya ever shot the 25-35 its the best ..then he handed me his winchester 25-35 and a full box of ammo and said have fun..i fell in love with the cartridge that day..that was around 1996 hahaha
That guy was a marlin lover and came out to shoot his marlin collection all laying out on the rifle bench ..they were beautiful..and one winchester because marlin never chambered the 25-35..it was one of those days at the range that keeps me going back.
We had alot of fun trading guns back and forth..have ya shot this cartridge..no try this one..
I think we had 12-15 different rifle between us and we were shoot-n fools complete strangers..it was cool..thats my 25-35 story..
Im glad it found a new home..
