Who makes the nicest leather owb high rise type holster for a full size 1911? Id like to have a padded interior and the belt loops that snap on the belt on either side of the holster

I'm a big fan of Milt Sparks. Take a look at the 55BN

Holsters are very personal choice. For my 1911’s it Milt Sparks. I prefer the classic 55BN for OWB, but it’s not a belt loop snap. I’ll check their website. If you order direct it’s six-plus months wait the last one I ordered.
EDIT: Milt Sparks OWB with snap belt loops is the Axiom. It is FBI cant only which most prefer, but some don’t.

I've always liked El Paso Saddlerys leather. Good as any, better'n than most.

Check out Kramer. Their msp holster works so nice with heavy revolvers you dont even hardly need a belt. And do go with the horse hide, thinner and harder than cow hide.
