175gr SMK

Well I just got some 175gr SMK's. I'm thinking about pushing them with 43.5 grs of Varget with Federal match primers and an COAL of: 2.787" How do you think I will fair? Good, bad or what? Any input would be very helpful. Thanks again for everything!!! Oh by the way this load is for a .308 ;)

Well for my .308s I shoot 175SMK on top of 43.7 gr. Of Varget with either Federal 210M or CCI BR2 primers from IMI Match brass with an OAL of 2.810 They will shoot under ½ MOA in my Savage 10FP-LEB2 and my AR-30

OK Man. You can check that very easily. Measure the neck after resizing it app. 1/16 to 1/8 " from the case mouth. Now measure a loaded round in the same location. The difference in those 2 numbers will be the amount of neck tension measurement. Bill
