.17 Winchester Super Magnum Availability

Does anyone know when the WSM rifles from Savage, Marlin or others will be available? I want to preorder one if possible.

Ammunition?

I have to get one of these for Coyote and PD hunting. I tried calling Savage, but they claimed to not know the release date and I even left a message for the product manager and did not get a call back.

Rifles and ammunition are supposed to be ready for spring this year. So late March early April.

Ask your local dealer(s) to put you on a waiting list. Volquartsen Custom in working on a semi auto rifle. Anschutz might introduce a .22 Hornet and 17WSM straight pull similar to the new 1727F .17 HMR.

I spoke to a couple of guys at the Minnesota Deer Classic from Savage yesterday. They are now saying that their rifle will not be out until May. Apparently there are delays, but they would not elaborate.
