17 Win Super Mag ???

Hey Guys
What's the word on the 17 Win. Super Mag. Is this rd. accurate?
Have a friend, his gun just won't group. Is this rd. capable of good accuracy
in the right rifle in the right hands?

I have a buddy that has one. He says it shoots about an inch at 100. But, he has never really tried to drive the gun. He says it is just a fun gun for him.
