Both shot with CZ 527 17 squirrel 20 gr VMax at 182 yards and 104 yards. Makes 103 Groundhogs shot since Middle of June!

Hillbilly I am happy to see there is still a few dedicated groundhog hunters out there (even though some people say there isn't many groundhogs in the east) I really enjoy your posts and pictures I hope you keep it up. Also it is always a good idea to start after Memorial Day like you do.

June the 15th is usually the date to start shooting Groundhogs for me. Old timers taught me that. Wait til the young ones are big enough. I have always been a Small Game Hunter. Id rather Groundhog hunt or Squirrel hunt than go on any Big Game hunt in the World!
