Does anyone know if Winchester makes
Their own 17 hmr ammo ,or do they buy it from cci.

I'm not sure but I quit buying Winchester rimfire ammo a few years ago. Way too many misfires with 17 and 22.

Yes they do, it's called Winchester Supreme

They make their own 17hmr. CCI makes all other 17hmr.

The difference between Winchester 17hmr and the rest is obvious, even CCI can’t make ammo that bad.

+1 A couple of years ago CCI customer service rep told me the same thing.
