17 Caliber Question

Trying to decide on a 17 caliber barrel for my contender. Will be shot as a pistol. Probably 16-17 inch bull barrel. What caliber would you recommend and why?

17s I would eather go with the rem or the new 17 firball if you ar not a relader .
I dont own a fireball but do think it would be a fun round . Depending on what you are shooting Little stuff? the 17 ack Hornet is a blast!
I vote for the Fireball just becauls I have never played with it and it should do anything a 17 would do?
