155-175's in 308 how much jump

beginning to develop loads for newly built rifle in 308. the barrel is a Lilja 3 groove 11-1 twist. suggestions on seating of bullet from the lands. This is a single feed. will shoot mostly 100-600yards. will also look at 155 and 175's

For me it's typically .018" - .020" off the lands, or about .015" in the lands with 30 cal bullets.

I load 0.040" off and they work just fine.

Richard, I load Berger 175s 0.020" into the lands with good results in Krieger and Hart 1:11" twist barrels.

I jump the Berger 155.5 FULLBORE .010 at 2.890 OAL in a Bartlein 10" twist and Palma chamber. Because of case capacity issues and excellent accuracy, a larger jump was not tested. Since Monte recommends .045-.050, give it a try, it will likely work well.
