140 Amax length?

Can someone tell me the length of the 140 amax? I'm measuring the 123 amax at an average of 1.24" I'm trying to determine how far the boat tail junction will be below the neck/shoulder junction on my 6.5 Lapua case with the 140's. Thanks.

Yes, that's it. Looks like my boat tail junction will be well below the neck/shoulder junction - eating into my powder charge capacity. I'll just have to try it and see what kind of velocity I get. Thanks.

You can always buy a throating reamer, then cut your chamber's lands out a bit farther, bud!

Kinda a one-way operation though... you'll be shootin' long bullets until it's time for a shorten & re-chamber job.
