14.5" .223, powder efficientcy

Got a new AR-15 coming with a 1-8 twist 5R Match barrel. Is there a powder which would tend to all burn up in the 14.5" barrel better than others. Better velocities> or are the all going to be about the same?

Any favorite loads for the short barrel? Love accurate guns!!! Hoping this will be another, no FTR but 300 yardish.

Thanks, I think I have H322 and 4895 and plenty of 69 and 77 match bullets

From shooting an XP in 223 I can tell you that while very accurate, H335 produced a basketball-sized muzzle conflagration that was really fun to watch at night........almost like half the charge didn't light off until it hit atmosphere.....

I say very accurate.....it was as accurate as that gun could be, which was about 5/8", regardless, due to, at least in my feeble mind, The Magical Elliptical Remington Chambering in that particular gun.

Yeah, I'd go with faster powder........2015 was good, and N133 was best in that gun.
