Got this guy this am @ 125 yards w/BAR Safari w/BOSS in 270 win. 47 grains of H414/W760. Slow but accurate. Went 50 yards after the shot. Small exit, dropped him of at fur buyer's. More of a victory lap than $$$ Set up snipers hide & let them come to me. Private lane w/trees on both sides. One crossed too fast for a shot. This guy stopped and had to have a look around. In my chair w/Bog-Pod tripod sticks. Very steady. 28 degrees w/10 mph headwind. Going to try again in am.

Had some red in him. 3rd of the year. Last one had the mange, so I buried him. Been a while since I dug a good size hole. Glad it was wet at the time!

Great coyote 370bc. I went yesterday my self and ended up getting one . I was using my 260 with 140 Berger he was around 200 yards .

What size exit hole? Was it a bang flop? I shot a yote last year with a 7mm rem mag & 140 berger @ 250 yards that rolled him, but he got up & took off. No recovery. love the high BC's of the bergers!

Drt . The bullets hit him in the chest and exited behind the last rib. exit hole was about 2 inches . No tracking. I've had really good luck with the Berger bullets on every thing I've hunted with it no complaints yet.

I use 88 bergers in my 243 with great results. No runners. If you hit bone it can get messy, but no runoffs. I had runoffs with 110 Vmax out of my 270 before. I chose them for the high bc and accuracy. Like most hornadys, always would get a flyer out of the group. Wanted to try the SMK to see if it would work. Surprised it ran 50 yards, but more testing is needed. Might get my chance for our first snowfall of the year in the Stl metro area coming Tuesday night, ready for Wednesday morning hunt. Love watching the hits w/muzzle break (BOSS).
My buddy and his friend used his 7mag to take 2 mulies @ 200 yards with bang -flop results. Had a pic of internal damage which was impressive.
