123 Amax help

I have a 26 in shilen barrel on a trued rem action .
I can get my gun to shoot about 1/2 min with 38.5 gr varget , cci 450's and 130 eld-m's jumping .005
but I have aquired a bunch of 123 amax's and cannot get them to shoot worth a darn .
Tried h4350 but have had no luck .
Have tried .005 jump out to .020 jump .
Any advice ?

What cartridge? Sounds like a 6.5x47. If so back down about to 37.2 and work up a few tenths on the varget and jump 0.010 and go from there. I tried H4350 as well but couldn't get any consistent groups, a few really nice 0.2 in groups but couldn't get them to repeat. I went back to Varget when I moved from the 123 to 130s and repeatable sub 0.2 in groups at 200 yards with max spreads of 11 fps with most in 6-7 fps five shot groups at 2900 fps. Good luck.

Tight neck. I turn the necks too .012 thick for .003 Clarence.

I jump em about 0.020” and shoot 39.3 gr Varget CCI 450.

I'm actually setting up a seating depth test on the 123's now.
My OCW test gave me a .8" group but a wide charge window of .6gr with rl19.
I'm currently loaded at mag length which is .048 off of jam.
If I get this rifle down to .5" repeatable imma call it a day.
And to quote sniper338 iffin you decide to dump those Amax's I'm a buyer!!

I tried a .005” jam , .020” jump, and .050” jump and the .020” jump shot the best at 600 yards. Think I also tried in between these numbers of jump and jam and in each case .020” jump was the most consistently accurate. 26” Krieger 8.5 twist at 3050 FPS.

Its always the powder ! There are at least 7 powders to try with that bullet. One of them will be like magic and make tiny groups. I've seen it a hundred times.
